The result is an endless stream of things that feel complete but never become enduring.

Restraint is often mistaken for hesitation.

They are not the same.

Restraint is deciding that another page does not improve the book.

That another feature does not improve the product.

That another opinion does not improve the sentence.

Finishing is not the moment there is nothing left to add.

It is the moment nothing remains that asks to be removed.

A publication should leave room for the reader.
